Village Mosaix has been serving thousands of individuals across Brisbane since 2017.

Every week, Village Mosaix seeks to build strength in our community through providing hot meals, food pantries, barista training. connection and holistic support.

The meals and training are open to anyone but most people who come are new migrants, international, local and interstate students, families, people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable people. Our community meals seek to be a meeting place for everyone, offering people a place where they can feel welcome and belong. We deliver services mostly to people in the inner city in Spring Hill and Kelvin Grove, 4 days a week

Village Mosaix is made possible by dozens of volunteers, and supporting partners including Brisbane City Council, Foodbank, Oz Harvest, Coles New Farm, Second Bite, St. Paul’s Spring Hill, Communify, QUT, and Village Church Brisbane.

In the last 12-months, the demand for Village Mosaix’s services has continued to skyrocket, due to increased cost of living pressures, finding accommodation and employment uncertainty. In order to continue delivering essential services to the community, Village Mosaix is seeking to raise $40,000 by September 30th to ensure that operations can continue to the end of 2026 and into 2027.

  • A donation of $120 provides coffee and barista training for 5 students.
  • A donation of $250 provides meals for 350 people.
  • A donation of $600 provides 300 boxes of groceries.

We would like to thank all those people who have donated to our previous fundraising campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2022 floods and previous years. Village Mosaix has been growing its impact year on year, and we need your support to keep up this work. If you would like to get in touch with us, find out more information, or volunteer, please contact us below. Our service to the community is only possible with your support. Thank you for your generous support!

How We Help

Village Mosaix is not looking to replace government or non-government organisations in their effort to support people from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds in our community. Rather, we are hoping to bridge the gap between their services and each individual by providing the practical care and support that is sometimes lacking.

We have recognised that since the COVID pandemic started everyone is in need, in some way or another. Some people are feeling isolated. Others are feeling disconnected. Still others are struggling to pay bills and school fees. Anxious. Worried. Stressed out. Desperate. Village Mosaix wants to meet these challenges by providing different opportunities for people not just to receive help, but also to empower them to connect deeper with the community which they are a part of. Below are some of our initiatives in the community.
