Growing in Faith | A Gather Event

Throughout 2026 the GatHer Women’s Ministry has been planning events that help Women live as Christians in this world. We started the year with a talk on One Anothering, then we had a talk on understanding our value to God and how we can and should depend on Him.  This August we are excited to run our first practical workshop for women at Village Church. This workshop will help us grow in our faith as we action God’s calling to disciple each other.

Newcomers Lunch

Are you new to Village? Do you want to hear more about who we are and what we’re on about? Then come join us at Newcomers Lunch – an introduction to the life, ministry, and mission of Village Church. Newcomers Dinner

Are you new to Village Church? Do you want to hear more about who we are and what we’re on about? Then come join us at our Newcomers Dinner where you will hear an introduction to the life, ministry, and mission of Village Church. It will be an opportunity to meet some of the team, hear our story, and ask a few questions along the way. By the end of it, you’ll know what next steps you can take here at Village. Dinner will be provided, so you don’t have to bring anything with you, and dietary requirements will be catered for.

Holiday Kids Club - Aussie Outback Adventures

Join us for an Aussie Outback Adventure at Village Church’s Holiday Kids Club 2026!

Grab your akubras and get ready for three mornings packed with fun and adventure as we head to the Aussie Outback together.

Across three action-packed mornings, kids will enjoy: watching skits, playing games, creating crafts, participating in hands-on science experiments, listening to Bible stories, getting dressed-up, making friends and exploring the good news of Jesus from the Bible.

Church Picnic

We’ll be meeting down at McCaskie Park (next to Kelvin Grove Rd) after the morning service for a BYO picnic.

Bring a rug, some camping chairs and food and drink and let’s share some quality time together. McCaskie Park has a large grassy area with plenty of shade, a playground, basketball court and even a ping pong table if you want to bring any equipment to play!

No need to register – just turn up 🙂

It’ll be a great way to unwind, connect, and share in fellowship. We can’t wait to see you there!

Coffee Before Church

Much like the picnic event above, we want to provide a chance for the PM service to catch up and gather together for a relaxed afternoon coffee and bikkies 🙂

The Story

A five-week introduction to the story of the Bible
 

If you are new to Village or to the Christian faith, the Story is a five-week course for anyone who has questions about what life is all about or who wants to investigate how the story of Jesus impacts our stories. Join Sam weekly for discussions that are relaxed and open and leave plenty of room for exploration and reflection.

Kelvin Grove Playgroup

Do you want to meet other parents from the Kelvin Grove community and give your children a fun and safe playtime?
 

Every Friday morning – during the school term – mums and dads, along with their little ones, from Village Church and the wider community get together to sing, read stories, play games and do craft together. We love kids and love getting to know other parents in the community. All people are always welcome!
