We seek to care and love each other as Jesus has loved us
Get Care
We want to love one another from the end of our toes, that means the people who are right in front of us. We also recognise there are a number of ways we can do that. For more information on our Pastoral Care Plan please click here. As always please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.
Our pastoral care team would love to get to know how they can help care for you or someone you know.
If you’re attend our Kelvin Grove morning service, Anthony (elder) and Kashelle, along with the Care team, would love to know how they can help care for you or someone you know.
Our care teams partner with Community Groups to offer care to those in need. Here are some of the ways we can help:
Prayer
We pray for others as an expression of love and care for them, knowing that our God hears and answers prayer. We can pray confidentially for a specific need or pray as a church at Tuesday morning prayer meeting.
Practical Care
We recognise that lot’s of people are doing it tough at the moment or just need some help. We can help people move, provide meals and food hampers and other practical help.
Professional Counselling
We understand that sometimes people need specialised help and support. We can therefore help link you with professional and qualified Christian counsellors and clinical professionals (such as psychologists and psychiatrists).
Marriage
We want to help you care for your marriage;
Pre-marriage Preparation: before you get married we offer a pre-marriage course you can do with your partner online. We then meet up and work through Prepare Enrich to help prepare you for marriage.
The Marriage Course and Raising Children Course: we want to help strengthen marriages and families through ongoing support and encouragement.
Marriage Counselling: If it is needed, we can put you in contact with qualified marriage counsellors.
Visitations
We have people who can visit you in hospital or at home, to chat, read the Bible and pray, and connect you to further support.
Funerals
During this difficult time of loss and grief, we can care for family by assisting in the planning and running of a funeral or memorial service.
