What Should I Expect?
During our Sunday services, VKs engages children with the life-changing truth of the gospel. We teach children the Bible and encourage them to love God and love people from the end of their toes to the ends of the earth, through creative and age-appropriate programs.
We appreciate that you are entrusting us with the safety of your children while they are in our care. We go to great lengths to make sure that all our kid’s spaces are safe and secure. Each space is supervised by staff members and volunteers who have been vetted and equipped through PresSafe and in-house training.
NURSERY & TODDLER | NEWBORN – 3 YEARS
Sundays AM
The infant and toddler years are critical for a child’s development. We encourage parents to stay in church with their small kids for as long as they can. We want the kids to know that they are valued members of our church. When they get older and want to stretch their wings our parent/infant area is a good place for toddlers to begin to make peer friendships and for parents to meet and encourage other parents, while still having access to the Sunday service through our livestream.

VK'S MINIS | AGES 3 TO PRE-SCHOOL
Sundays: 9:30AM
Our Minis group provides a warm, nurturing environment for our youngest learners, aged 3 to pre-school. Through simple Bible stories, interactive songs, and hands-on crafts, we help these little ones discover who Jesus is, how much He loves them, and the good news of his kingdom. Our caring leaders create a safe space where children can ask questions, express themselves, and begin their journey of faith through play-based learning.

mIDDIES – PREP & YEAR 1
Sundays: 9:30AM
The Middies group caters to children in Prep and Year 1, building on foundational
Bible knowledge through engaging activities and meaningful discussions. Each week, leaders support the kids to think through practical ways to live out their faith, encouraging them to see how God's love applies to their everyday experiences—at home, at school, and beyond.
MIGHTIES | YEARS 2 AND 3
Sundays: 9:30AM
Our Mighties group serves children in Years 2 and 3, who are ready to read Bible passages and explore more complex questions about faith and life. Through whole- group games, discussions, memory verses, small group study, application time, and creative activities, we encourage them to think about what it means to follow Jesus. Leaders support the children as they grow as disciples—or apprentices—of Jesus and recognise how their faith connects with daily choices, helping them develop a personal relationship with God.

MEGAS – YEARS 4, 5 AND 6

The Megas group is designed for our older children in Years 4, 5, and 6, who are
engaging with life’s bigger questions and forming deeper theological
ideas about who God is. Children in Megas participate in meaningful conversations with leaders who care about their faith and help them engage with complex Scripture as they learn to trust Jesus through the challenges of growing toward adolescence.
