The Sunday Gathering - Kelvin Grove
We are not a building. We are not an event. We are a community from many different backgrounds and nationalities. We gather in order to love God and love people from the end of our toes to the ends of the earth.
What Should I Expect?
Each week we sing songs to God & one another, listen to stories from our community, speak to God in prayer and hear him speak to us through his Word. After the Bible talk we have a time of Q&A where you can ask any questions you may have of the talk or the passage we’re exploring. The formal part of our Sunday gathering runs for about 75 minutes, but people meet up before & after to enjoy barista-made coffee and hang out in the open-air amphitheatre. We encourage you to come as you are – most people dress casually so just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Village Kids
We appreciate that you are entrusting us with the safety of your children while they are in our care. We go to great lengths to make sure that all our kid’s spaces are safe and secure. Each space is supervised by staff members and volunteers who have been vetted and equipped through PresSafe and in-house training. Kids are always welcome to join us in the service, but if they would like to attend our VKs program, simply sign them in when you first arrive at the Connect Centre just outside the front doors of F Block. Our kids join us for singing before being dismissed to VKs – our Leaders & Helpers will escort everyone to their classes. At the end, parents must sign-out their children before they can leave VKs.

Location:
Village Church Kelvin Grove meets at F Block at 9:30am on the QUT Campus in Kelvin Grove. F Block is close to the main Kelvin Grove historic building (A Block), near the intersection of Victoria Park Road and Musk Avenue. Follow the Village Church signs to the Amphitheatre. Once you get there you will see the entrance to the F Block auditorium. (See below for Google Maps.)
Parking:
Limited free street parking is available on Sundays along Victoria Park Road & Musk Avenue. Paid car parking is available for $10 in the F Block car park, just off Boundary Road. Park on the 4th floor and take the elevator to the 5th Floor. (See below for map of parking.)
Public Transport:
Take Bus No M2, 333, 330 or 340 from the city. Get off at the Kelvin Grove Bus Station. From the bus station it’s about a 5 minute walk to F Block up the Main Path. Click the button below to plan your trip using Translink Journey Planner.
